SED 567 DESIGNING PROBLEM-BASED CURRICULA (3)

Students in this Ecampus course will learn a framework for designing problem-based activities and curricula around current environmental health science problems through studying units from published problem-based curricula. Participants will gain understanding of curricular design principles, the relationship among curricular design, instruction, and assessment. More information.

  • Hydroville Curriculum Project (HCP) 9-12 grade
    Curricula developed by EHSC with a grant from NIEHS from 200-2007.
    Students work in teams to solve environmental health problems based on real-life occurrences. This integrated curricula promotes 21 Century Skills with teamwork, critical thinking, subject integration, and problem-solving.
  • Toxicology Risk Assessment and Pollution (ToxRAP)
    This K-9 curriculum, developed by the Resource Center at the
    Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI), is an innovative new curriculum which introduces students to the principles of toxicology and the process of risk assessment.
